Cape Trafalgar is a headland in Andalusia in the southwest of Spain, northwest of the Strait of Gibraltar. The Battle of Trafalgar, in which the British Navy under the command of Admiral Lord Nelson defeated Napoleon’s French and Spanish navies, took place off the cape on 21 October 1805.
