Liberal, Kansas, is significant to The Wizard of Oz because it is where Dorothy lived with her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em. I found this information from a fandom wiki about The Wizard of Oz. The wiki explains that Kansas is Dorothy’s home and the place where her story begins before she is carried away to Oz by a tornado. The page also provides information about Kansas as it is portrayed in the Oz stories, helping connect the fictional setting to the real world state. This source is an example of low barriers to entry because users can edit the page, add new information, or change existing content. Mapping this location on COVE lets future students build on what I found.
