J.K. Rowling: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Type: Gallery Image | Not Vetted

J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, is the second book in her popular series Harry Potter, and it was published on July 2nd, 1998. It follows the plot of the first book, now showing Harry in his second year at Hogways. Prior to returning to school he is sent a letter stating that if he does go back things will not go as planned for him and that disaster will strike. The plot begins to get complicated once Harry does return to the school as there are these messages on the walls of the school's corridors. These messages tell those that are reading it to stay away from the "Chamber of Secrets," ultimately warning the students about it. What is odd about this book is that there are a lot of warnings present, and instead of following these warnings Harry and his friends go towards the danger rather than fleeing from it. The warning ultimately draws in Harry Potter and his friends since they want to get to the bottom of what the "Chamber of Secrets" actually is and why it had been opened (“Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets | Harry Potter Wiki | Fandom”). It was quite intriguing to them especially since the heir of Slytherin would kill any being that is not from an all magical family.
