Paris is sugnificant to Jane Eyre because Rochester's relationship with Celine Varens happened there. The article tells us that Adele was born in Paris and her French language and dancing skills shows us she was born there. I found this information in a scholarly article through OpenEdition. This is an example of a singular authorship because one researcher researched how French locations and language went into the novel/ movie. Mapping on COVE lets future students build on this research by making connections between Adele, Celine, Rochester and Paris. This is significant because it shows us how there is an important storyline that is not in the film but happens beyond England.
