"Plain" Jane

This illustrated version is one of the only ones completed by a woman. This version uses bright colors to represent the novel. In this section, Jane is beginning to come to terms with the way she looks and who she is. She says she no longer feels plain. These illustrations were done by Kathy Mitchell in 1992.
