Alex Anderson (she/her) is a PhD student in Literature, Theory, and Cultural Studies earning an additional certificate in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at Purdue University. Her scholarship predominantly centers around the long nineteenth century, memory and trauma studies, and the American Gothic traditions. Her co-authored article "A Bedroom Brothel: BDSM Theory and Postmemory in Sonia Pilcer's The Holocaust Kid" is forthcoming in the Journal of Jewish Identities.
