Parkhurst Prison

HM Prison Parkhurst is a prison in Parkhurst on the Isle of Wight, UK. The prison was originally a military hospital  in 1778 and became a juvenile prison in the 1830s. Queen Victoria visited the prison in 1845 and wrote about it in her journal.
