Colchester

Colchester is a market town in the borough of Colchester in Essex, England. It was the site of Camulodunum, the first major Roman city in England.

Coal Exchange

The London Coal Exchange was a trading exchange for coal located in the City of London (London, England). It was established in 1770 and open until 1962 with three different structures throughout that period.

Clerkenwell

Clerkenwell is an area in central (London, England), in the modern borough of Islington. Clerkenwell is named after the Clerks' Well in Farringdon Lane, and in the Elizabethan era was a site of general debauchery and a notorious brothel quarter due to its location outside of the City of London walls. During the Industrial Revolution, Clerkenwell became a centre for breweries, distilleries, printing and manufacturing. Clerkenwell has also been associated with radicalism, including the Chartists movement of the 19th century.

Clapham

Clapham is a district in the modern borough of Lambeth and extending into the modern borough of Wandsworth in (London, England). From the 17th to the early 19th century, wealthy merchants built large country houses in the area of the common land Clapham Common (now a park). It is now a commuter suburb.
