Lodz is a city in central Poland located 75 miles (120km) southwest of Warsaw. In the fourteenth century, Lodz was a small settlement but became a city in 1423. It was an important industrial center and was once one of Poland's largest cities, especially for textiles.

Poznań is a city in central Poland on the River Warta and an important cultural and business center. It is one of Poland's oldest cities (established in 1253). It is home to Adam Mickiewicz University, the third largest university in Poland.

Named for the reddish color of the water, the Red River flows through the southern United States, including the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. It serves as the border between Texas and Oklahoma east of of Texas's panhandle.

Lake Erie is one of the five Great Lakes located on the North American continent between the United States and Canada. Of the five, it is the second smallest by surface area and smallest by volume. It borders the states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York and the Canadian province Ontario.
