The state capital of Florida, and my hometown. Florida State University is the most famous part of Tallahassee, well, besides getting press for an issue with one of our past elections. Not much else. Go Noles!

Tampa is a city in Florida located on Tampa Bay on the western side of the Florida peninsula. Fort Brooke was established in 1824 shortly after the United States acquired Florida from Spain. The city was a frontier outpost for a long time. Tampa has long been influenced by the large Cuban population in the area and the many cigar factories, many of which were located in famed Ybor City.
