Anna Letitia Barbauld was born on June 20, 1743, in Kibworth Harcourt Leicestershire, England. Anna was a British writer who had and has many popular and some of the best writings. She wrote about many things that were happening in the 18th century. One of my favorite things that she wrote from the Romantic period is "The Mouses Petition," it is a poem about a farmer feeling bad for killing the mouse after he ran over its home while the farmer was working. In 1774 she married Rochemont Barbauld. I can relate her to another author I have mentioned Marry Shelly because Anna did a response to one of her famous works.
