The Wesleyan Church was a Methodist church located in Seneca Falls in Seneca county, New York. The red brick church was constructed in 1843 and is best known as a local safe haven for many historical movements. Movements surrounding ideas of antislavery, women's rights, politics, and other practices of free speech took place here. Although the church is well known for its many historical moments, it served many other purposes as the years progressed. 

The Bastille was originally built to protect Paris from an English attack, but was quickly altered into a state prison where the monarch decided who could be imprisoned within its' walls. The walls were built with 100-ft high walls, and a wide moat surrounding the castle; furthermore, over a hundred guards always stood ground to protect. These imprisoned people were often higher class French citizens that spoke out against the monarchy/government and were thought of as a threat to Louis XIV.

Hong Kong first came into the global limelight during the Opium trade in the 19th Century. England at the time really wanted to export tea leaves back to the British Isles but the Chinese regime only accepted silver in exchange. This led to a massive trade deficit for Britain. Afterwards, the British traded Opium for tea leaves, and while this later balanced the trade accounts between the two countries, it led to widespread drug use in China and the country started to bleed silver. This caused a massive trade decifit to China.
