York

York is a cathedral city situated at the confluence of the rivers Ouse and Floss in North Yorkshire in northern England. The city was besieged by Parliamentarian forces in 1644. A railway connection to the city was established in 1839.

Norwich

Norwich is a city on the river Wensum in the East Anglia region of eastern England. It is home to the medieval Norwich Cathedral. In the Early Modern period, the city attracted French and Belgian Protestant weavers fleeing religious persecution.

Eel Pie Island is an island in the river Thames at Twickenham in west London. There had been an inn on the island since the eighteenth century, and in the nineteenth century it became a popular site for excursions by steamer.

Bristol is a city in the southwest of England. It is home to Bristol Cathedral, the original structure of which dates back to the twelfth century.
