Scandinavia
Sweden, Norway, and Denmark are often referred to as Scandinavia. Mary Wollstonecraft spent time in all three countries when she was desperately trying to win back Gilbert Imlay after he abandoned her and his child, Fanny. She was on the hunt for a stolen treasure ship, hoping that this would prove something to Imlay. Nothing came of this venture, both romantically and in the sense of treasure.
