The cover of Little Journeys to the Homes of English Authors: William Morris.

The book is hand-bound and hand-pressed. While the exact material used is unknown by looking at it, it appears to be a very soft leather. The edges are flimsy and falling apart.

The pages here are a linen-type material, with the first page bound to the back of the cover. There is a soft ribbon to be used as a bookmark, however, it has been detatched. As you can see here, the binding is also falling apart.

This is the title page, and the first page that Hubbard uses a mimicing style as Morris with block print. You can see in the left of this image that the ink has transfered to the other page.

This is the edition page. The type is hand-printed with a press, while the digit and Hubbard's script are added by hand with a pencil. Assumed a lead pencil.
The Idle Singer
The Idle Singer

The first part of the book displays this poem, "The Idle Singer" by William Morris; however, the poem has had two stanzas cut and the name shortened from the original "The Idle Singer of and Empty Day." It's assumed that both the poem and title were shortened in order to fit everything on a single page.

On the left is a Mezzotint print portrait of William Morris. On the right is his name. In between the two is a thin paper. The material is unknown, but it feels similar to rice paper.
