George Orwell passed away January of 1950 at the University College Hospital, London. He published at least 15 books and novels during his lifetime from 1930's to 1949.

George Orwell was in and out of the hospital in the final stretch of his life. During his time at home in Herbrides, United Kingdom. He wrote his last book Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949) here before finally being hospitalized. 

George Orwell participated and served in the Civil War in Europe. He would not be taken as apart of the English front, but he did however serve in Spain, specifically in the  Aragon front. He served for 115 days and it wasn't until 1937 he was allowed to leave and be able to return hime to his wife in Barcelona. During this time his throat was severly injured and his voice was never the same.

Eton College along with Williamton are the two universities that Orwell studied at. He only attended Williamton in 1917, and attended Eton from 1917 to 1921 and never finiahed his college education. He then went on to participate in the Indian Imperial Police
