No 16 Tite Street in Chelsea, Wilde's Family home
After marrying his wife Constance Lloyd in 1884, they moved into a home together in Chelsea. It's said Wilde and his wife brought "fashionability" to the neighborhood that was rough around the edges. The address has now changed to No 34 Tite Street, but still a plaque remains in his honor.
Trinity College, Dublin
Wilde attended Trinity College, Dublin from 1871-1874. Here he won many many coveted awards but the one of the highest importance was the Berkeley Gold Medal which he later went onto pawn multiple times during times of hardship. Being at the top of his class and placing first in his exams, he was also granted a scholarship, the Demyship scholarship, to Magdalen College in Oxford.
Magdalan College, Oxford
Magdalan College in Oxford is where Wilde found his confidence and earned a degree with honours. During his time here, he chose to study the classics because he knew this is where he would find he was most successful already having studied classics at Trinity College, Dublin.
