This is the mountainous terrain where the castle is located. It acts as a divder between the two sides of Italy and goes through Tuscany. 

This is where Emily and the gang (Annette, Ludavico, and Du Pont) try and sail into. 

This is the convent that is close to the chateau in Languedoc. Emily's father is buried here, and Blanche stayed here as she grew up. It overlooks the Mediterranean, and Blanche is struck by its sublimity.

Emily, Annette, Ludovico, and Du Pont cross the Arno river by moonlight as they make their escape from Udolpho. (461). It has always been a key transit route between the sea and the Appenines. 

Emily, Du Pont, Annette, Ludovico sail into Marseilles from Italy after escaping Udolpho. 

Marseilles is an old port city, founded by the Greeks in 600 BC. It has been known as an immigration and trade route since then.
