What can I do at COVE Editions?
Kylee-Anne Hingston is an Assistant Professor in the English Department at St. Thomas More College, University of Saskatchewan. Her book, Articulating Bodies, traces the patterns of focalization and narrative structure across seven decades and six genres of nineteenth-century fiction to demonstrate how the developing shape of Victorian fiction both informed and reflected the era’s developing notions of disability. Her current research on prominent mid-Victorian religious periodicals from various denominational backgrounds seeks to uncover religious doctrine’s vital involvement in the Victorian conceptualization of disability and illness.
