Folio 88 is a handwritten notebook page with no cutouts.

Folio 87 is a handwritten notebook page with no cutouts. After the folio number, it begins with the Roman numeral "V" to indicate the beginning of Chapter 5.

Folio 86 contains two cutouts from the upper portion of p. 18 of the Blackwood's 1889 printing glued down into a single column onto a notebook page. Wilde makes annotations on the Blackwood's cutouts and on the notebook page.

Folio 43 begins with the Roman numeral III to indicate the beginning of Chapter 3. After a revised introduction in Wilde's handwriting, Wilde pastes in the left hand column of p.17 from Blackwood's 1889 printing. Wilde makes annotations on the Blackwood's cutout and on the notebook page, and he adds a lengthy addition beside and below the cutout.
